Car Repairs in Bulgaria

When I found this team of well trained mechanics, hidden in a back road in Djebel Kardzhali southern Bulgaria, I had my doubts about taking my Toyota Hilux Surf 4x4 to them.
Many times, as a single female, mechanics saw me coming a mile off, resulting in a repair that was never easy, quick or cheap!
Well, my Hilux really needed repair, so I risked it for a biscuit!
Their first repair of my Toyota, was completed in around 5 minutes, not enough time to finish the coffee they had given to me ... the bill, teeny enough to offer a slightly larger tip, which was strongly refused!
They had identified my huge problem as a teeny problem!
Well, I have taken my Toyota Hilux 4x4 to this garage many a time now, I have introduced other very happy 4x4 drivers to them and have no hesitation in recommending a drive over to them if you are looking for a jolly decent and very honest car repair jobby! :)

Other car repairs

I also have an MGF imported from the UK.
Parts and repairs on MGF's is by no means easy!
However, recently the Hydragas Suspension system collapsed on my MGF, literally taking the car down to floor level!
With the amount of holes in the roads here, I need every millimetre of height I can get.
I looked online to see quotes of literally hundreds and hundreds of POUNDS to get this Hydragas system pumped back up to normal height again.
Howevers there are no Hydragas pumps available in Bulgaria, there's not much call for them here!
One of the mechanics just happens to be an engineer, who got his thinking cap on and after a couple of days, came up with a solution to test drive on my MGF.
Well obviously I was already as low as I could go, so nothing could be broken and we gave the new pump a test run.
The mixed the relevant required fluids and began the pump up.
Well, ok, I now had a car so jacked up that another test run was called for while all the mechanics almost pee'd themselves laughing!
Obviously the car did have to do a few runs around the block in order for the new pumped in fluids to settle just a tad in order to be adjusted.
Well, I must say, I hadn't realised that since I had bought the car over from the UK, my suspension had been so low.
They ensured both sides of the car were equal before providing me with the bill, which again equated to minor stotinkis not huge hundreds!
Please note that if you have airbags in your car, and for some reason they are in need of regassing, the same tools can regas airbags too! BONUS! :)
